I have been fishing for a while in my super small boat. I have a trolling motor 35 lb " small boat" I have two Stowaway batteries. both suck and do not last very long. I have not had them on concrete, but both wear out very quickly. Do I need to add water? Dunb question needing good answer!

the batteries will go bad faster when they are on a charger all the time because the acid will boil out of the battery, and almost all newly manufactured batteries are protected against being on concrete so thats not an issue any longer. If you can pop the lids off, take a look inside the cells and see what the liquid level is at. should be about 3/8" above the lead plates.

I always use to charge my batteries every time I came in from fishing, I was told that this will over-charge them and they will die faster. Also are you keeping them in a battery box while in the boat?? don't know excatley how true this is but was also told that some trolling motors , even though they are smaller require more power to run them.
If nothing else carry an extra one.
