You can actually apply for some permits there.
They have 200 permits that they draw for, you must go to the Expo to get your chances validated then they draw the next week.
That might be a great time to book a mt lion hunt for yourself as well, big fluffy cats in Feb in Utah I'm betting.
I'm sure it is a good show- looks like they have a lot of exhibitors and SLC is a good town.
But if you want to save some time and get a jump on convention season, drive 60 miles to the DSC Convention in Dallas from Jan 5-8. We have 900 vendors and tons of Western outfitters. Would love to see a big TBH crowd there.

And yes there will be vendors and outfitters from all over.
Yes I was reading up on those opportunities I am planning my western hunting for the next few years, so when I saw this I was thinking a a weekend trip would be fun.
Mountain lion not really in to them but running the dogs and getting to see them work, that would be awesomeness!

Do you have a role with them? If so, PM me, that's close enough for a drive over to see what's happening.
Denver has the International Sportsman's Exposition in mid January.
That one has been pretty good in the past.
DSC was great back in the day, haven't been in a good while but I bet it's still good.
Main draw for the SLC Expo is the chance at some nice tags you can't apply for anywhere else in Utah.
