If y'all would, please say a prayer for my wife's grandpa Quinn and the family. He is 2 weeks away from turning 100 years old and it looks like he won't make that milestone. He has been on hospice for a week without eating or drinking. He is as tough as they come but they don't see him making it another 2-3 days.
He is one of the best men I've ever known and until he was about 95, he could outwork most young men and was sharp as a tack. I don't know how many are left but I imagine that he is one of the last soldiers left alive that stormed the beaches of Normandy in WW2. He wouldn't talk about WW2 much to people but for whatever reason, he told me stories that the rest of the family never heard. He has always been a shining example of what a godly man looks like and has served the Lord well for longer than most of us have been alive. I've only been a part of the family for 18-19 years but it was a privilege to have known him and spend time with him over the years. He will be missed and we just pray that he would go fast and not suffer anymore.
