Looking at land around Stratton area. Does anybody hunt in this area or have info about deer numbers and quality.

The property I have been hunting is right off Stratton rd. It's up for sale so we are in the process off getting our stuff off. There are pretty good numbers out there, but don't really expect to see many, if any, bucks over 130. GW told us the better quality deer are closer to the river which is on the other side of 183. -
I’ve hunted DeWitt/Gonzales counties my whole life. Numbers are way better than they used to be. Size is all over the map. I’ve seen some certified monsters driving through the county but they are hard to come by.
Like the post above says, average is gonna be at or below 130-140 for “solid deer” IMO.
