In search of new doctor in Colorado Co.

It appears my regular doctor in Bryan will transition to a Concierge Medicine model next year so I'll be considering changing doctors. Columbus or Eagle Lake I suppose. Thanks.

Is your Doctor wanting to charge $1800 or more per year for that service? My Parents found one in San Antonio that only charges $250 for concierge service which blew my mind. Awesome Doctor to boot. Funny that the other two Doctors in the same practice charge $1800 per year. Check the amount. If it is a low fee then it could be worth it if you visit multiple times per year. Good luck in your search.

I don't have all the details yet unfortunately but hope to get them next week. I would imagine the $1800 price is where he will be. I do two visits a year under medicare and supplement. Wellness and in between. I have an appointment in January but I don't believe they will honor it unless I sign up. This visit will determine if I'm 5 years clear on my prostate cancer surveillance so I'm a bit disappointed if they don't keep the appointment. We are in the process of transitioning from College Station to Colorado Co so I would likely be looking later anyway but wanted to at least get this under my belt so to speak.

Bill, don't tell her I told you, but Jen works in Columbus Hospital clinic. She's been there for a few months now and is building up her patient population.

As for Dr. Cantu, I know him outside of the office through the ACTS community. Seems like a great person that I would go see if I was in the area and looking for a doctor.

Dr Lindsay Tijerina. She had her own practice in Wharton before taking a position in Eagle Lake. She was also an emergency room doctor in Houston somewhere at the same time. She’s a very talented lady.

Dr. Bart Klaus in Columbus. I don't know him but I've done a lot of business with his dad and if he's anything like his dad, he's a good man.
