    Tika Customer Service

    Late this summer I purchased a Tika t3x Lite Veil. It shoots fantastic, much better than I am capable I'm sure. I have about 30 - 35 rounds through it.

    I was on a hunt this past week and had it in the front seat of the truck with the muzzle resting on the hump in the floor and the butt stock wedged between the crack in the seat backs. While reaching into the truck to get somethi8ng off the seat under the rifle my hand hit the magazine and it split in two with the bottom half of the magazine & follower hitting the floor and the upper half of the magazine staying in the rifle turning it into a single shot the rest of the hunt.

    I called the customer service number and was told that it was not covered under warranty since it was operator caused. Additionally, they could not sell me a replacement as they out source their parts to a company called EuroOptic. They did give me the part number and an 800 number.

    I didn't bump it vey hard at all, not sure if I just got a faulty magazine or what but needless to say I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the magazine and Tika's response.

    I bought two replacement for a total of $78.00.

    Mountain tactical aluminum mags are much better, they also have extended magazines as well. I would call and cancel your order and order one mountain tactical. Sometimes they have blemished units available for much cheaper than normal pricing. Looks like most everything is out of stock but they usually stock up fairly quick.

      To be honest, I've never had any issues with Tikka customer service because I've never had any problems with my Tikka.
