We have a small place very close to town, posted about a Fallow doe that came by, now this dude shows up, nice deer for anywhere but definitely for our place in cuero.

Agreed. My in-laws place is in Meyersville and we get a mature deer every once in a while, but a good buck is rare. Best one I’ve ever seen is this guy.

We got a few this year as well but are north of town. The antler restrictions did their job now let us police our own properties, tpwd!

That’s partially true and I agree up until you hit the point of diminishing return which I think we are seeing after all the years of AR. We have a LARGE amount of older deer on our property that need to be shot but can’t according to the ARs.

It’s a double edged sword if left in place for too long.

True, we have 2 bucks the past two years that are not legal and are 5-7 years old.
