Score these two.

I've been talking to different outfitters about a hunt next year and wanted to see a few bucks in the size that I'd be hunting. These two were sent but I'm having trouble seeing the score that I was told. I was told these two were 13 inches different and I can't see 13 inches different. Are my eyes wrong and what do you guys see?

Hard to tell but maybe time length 1-2”each (g3/g4) main beam length 2” each and 1 inch of width gets to 13”??

Maybe. The angle of the head is different in the pics and can skew the way it looks.

Ok so my eye's are about like yours I see. These are south Texas deer if that helps.

I was told the first but is a 161 and the second one was a 148.

top buck is definitely bigger. can't speak for the scores but the angle of the head is making it look the same.

look at the relative length of the tines compared to the ears.

I know where those are from. If that is what he said they score, that is what they are. And they are fairly conservative on their scoring. Proceed with confidence. Keith is as honest as they come.
