Can we agree to quit short-handing improved cylinder to “improved?” Improved modified is another common one; tighter than modified but wider than full. I like IC/IM in a double. But really IC or modified works just fine for 90% of hunting situations.

I think most people over choke their guns. I shoot skeet for decoying ducks in reasonable winds, but generally have a light mod ready for ducks that aren’t finishing well or when the wind gets up.Comment

Don't get caught up in which choke to use. Imp cyl , mod, full really don't matter all the much. Your ability to shoot is were it is at. I never really killed that many birds until I learned how to shoot.Comment
