Cache while hunting out west.

Anyone else make a cache of backup things that would ruin your trip if all were stolen? I have been doing so for close to 40 years without a problem.

I’ve packed food and water in during scouting trips and left it to use during the season. But I’ve never hiked extra stuff in just to hide it. I also hate extra gear weighing my pack down more than I probably should.

No I can’t say as I’ve ever packed a backup bow into the back country. Or left one of my credit cards anywhere on purpose
