He was in the third or fourth grade but swears he saw one, he said he picked up his gun pointed it towards the cat , turned his head and pulled the trigger then took off running.
He wishes he would have taken his time and put it on him and killed him.
He was a good shot at that age.

We bulldozed an old abandoned house on my brother in-laws place several years ago. The year and a half prior, his herd of sheep went from 30+ down to 10. The dozer operator started pushing the house, stopped and called us. Huge pile of bones in the attic of that old house. Not sure what all could have done that. I did all kinds of varmint hunting/calling etc trying to help and nothing..ever. Would all the critters leave town if a big kitty called it home?

It's been seen by a couple of neighbors in the daytime over the years.

Its not unusual for several different neighbors to see the same bobcat over a couple years.

I only wish I would have known 30yrs ago how cougars prayed on the young. I probably would have had a few mounted.

Oh, brother, it’s getting really deep in some places. I bet half of you bold talkers would turn tail and run, no matter what kind of cat you encounter!
