And no, I don't eat the heart or the liver either. You guessed it - dog treats!

Do we need to stage an intervention???

I don't normally do liver because I normally do gutless method, sometimes I go back in for the heart. I like to eat the heart fresh though and most of our deer come from a CWD zone so we don't eat them until they pass the TPWD test so I don't keep the heart for those and stop the neck trimmings at the 2nd vertebrae.
