    Softball bat

My daughter is in 7th grade and just starting to play softball. What's a good bat to get? I think 32" and 22 ounce is what she's borrowing at school and said works good.

She's really athletic, stronger than most girls her age, about 5'4". Any other info needed?

Looking to get her a good bat for Christmas.

Sounds like my daughter is similar build and thats the size she swings currently. Shes had good luck with a couple of demarini fnx. But got a ghost advanced this past summer. She loves the ghost but it’s already cracking so hopefully i can get it replaced while shes in between seasons.

My daughter is in 7th and swings a Demarini Carbon Candy and Demarini CFX.
My younger daughter uses Demarini Spryte. All are good bats with good pop.

Ghosts have a ton of pop but are prone to cracking. They will replace once. The Mantra seems to be a little more durable but maybe not quite as much pop.

Louisville lxt is a great bat with great pop. Its very balanced and has a nice size sweet spot. They are pretty durable also. Ghost advanced is another great bat but sometimes has durability issues. It swings a little heavier.

My oldest, now playing in college, loves the lxt. My youngest, a freshman in hs, is swinging the ghost advanced. Both girls hated the mantra. Easton will typically replace the bat multiple times during the warranty period. And you most likely need it.

I’ve got a contact for ghost bats that will save you some serious money if he has what you want in stock. Let me know if you want it. He’s a Yankee with a shop in New Jersey. I have bought a ton of bats from him. He’s legit and so is the warranty.

Ghost but go to a demo day at a local batting cage and let her swing them

My daughter is swinging a demarini prism. It has been really durable with pretty good pop. About to have to look for a new one myself.

Best advice would be to swing at a place that allows for demo’s and go with what she feels most comfortable. Most of these top of the line bats have pretty good pop.

Easton Fire Fly is what I would buy it is one of the best bats and most overlooked bat on the market.
Louisville LXT is a great bat but higher price tag than fire fly.
Ghost are hit and miss. No pun intended.
I coach and both my girls play year round, I see a lot of bats, ghost and most demarini break more than any other bats I have seen.

Louisville Slugger LXT is an awesome bat.
