Air rifle scope question

My son has a Benjamin nitro trail xp .22 cal air rifle, I need to replace the factory scope that won’t hold zero, any help with a replacement? I hear air rifle scopes are given a beating by the recoil???? Not sure what say the GS

Need to find a scope that is “ springer rated “ and there is a mount that also helps. I will have to look when I get home to get the name of the mount.
Pyramid Air should have scopes that are springer rated and usually will say so.

Recoil is forward so yes, they are made different.

I have a Hawke 4 x 16 x 50 sidewinder on my Crown MK II PCP rifle, like it a lot. Pyramid air is a good place to look.
