Shocking. You have an issue with something. Good thing I was sitting down.

I mean, what could possibly go wrong??

As opposed to the previous extraordinarily safe process of “hey Jim, I think they’re over there” ?

If anything they increase safety as they increase visibility.

“The biggest concern was overflight (onto neighboring properties),” King said. “However, the permitted activity has to be reported.”
Anybody have an English translation for what this means?

Yea, too bad you weren’t standing on a banana peel. But at least I’m still living in your head rent free!

Yes. If you're the type that follows laws, you have to follow the law, otherwise, you still don't.

You make a lot of posts but all I really see is “get off my grass!” [emoji2369]

Then you have been warned. Keep off my grass along with, due to drought conditions, my dirt and rocks as well.

                    Unless…..

A state has a specific law allowing it.

So basically….. all drone activity as it relates to wildlife is against the law unless a state says it’s okay.

                    And….

Texas already has a state law prohibiting practically everything as it relates to drones combined with wildlife.

Now TPWD has apparently approved drones for the limited use of hog hunting so it would comply with state and (I think) federal law.

That is my understanding as well.

No issue one way or another,

I was just glad to see Stormy at the top of TPWD. That is a hell of a person, and a Game Wardens through and through.

One of the last ones that actually took pride, and did the work to catch a road hunter.

How does Texas parks and wildlife have jurisdiction of feral animals on private land in the first place?

Exactly, I should be able to fly over my land and look at whatever is on it any time I want!

If you hear a shot and your drone falls on my land after being over the fence then...
