    Binocular rest

I like to do a lot of glassing while hunting. Watching deer and studying the terrain. I also have an attachment that holds my phone on the eye piece for videoing deer through the binos. Looking for some different ideas to hold the binos steady while in the stand but also gives enough movement to be able to position them quickly when needed. I know resting them on the ol’ window seal is an easy option but I’m looking for something more steady.

I have used a vortex high country tripod in WY. Got the binocular attachment and it worked great. Only problem is the tripod is on the heavy side for walking miles and miles on public land.

This will be used primarily in a box blind

I carry my primos trigger sticks and rest on those.

I have unsteady hands. I just rest the binos on the bottom of the window

Would a window mount work, if the blind windows are not too thick ? Add an attachment to hold the binos to it.
Something like these maybe, or a type that the binos strap to a base:

A monopod (trekking pole) with bino adapter should work

Honestly, buying a Wiebad fortune cookie and placing on edge of window sill would be my choice. My favorite are the waxed canvas, sand filled versions called “Tater tot”. They’re made for rifle support bags but work perfectly for spotting through Bino’s.

This is what I use and it works perfect. I even use it for my camera.

I second this, this is what I use out west for my spotting scope and binos. However, I have had several tripods, and this one is really light relative to the others. Now I need to go do research and see if I can upgrade for 2023!

Another option OP, get yourself a trekking pole. I use that a lot too.

Tripods would do the trick but noisy and bulky in a box blind.

If it is strictly for blind use you could mount 2 or 3 way camera arm in the blind. (Swing it out of the way when not in use)

Fluid head for smooth panning and bino adapter. If you go with a flat strap style adapter if could be used as a gun rest as well.

Mag View or Olin - phone adapter.

This is pretty would work just put your bino adapter on instead of a camera. (Might have to drill holes to screw to a wall.)

I've used and own everything mentioned.

My now go to, whether backpack hunting in UT, blind hunting in Texas or bird watching on my favorite MTB trail in houston, is my tripod. I use a leofoto carbon fiber. When I'm hunting I'll lock my view on a certain elevation of the mountain and leave the X axis loose on the tripod and just use my eyes/face to push my binos after I've cleared a spot. I grid out the entire FOV on that elevation, adjust down lower, and go back the other way.

If I had to choose pack space between snacks and my tripod, I'd be a hungry SOB after that days hunt.

After decades of loosing studs and posts I switched to Aziak bio clamp. Same premise as my right stuff cinch but less bulky.

Pair it with carbon fiber Amazon special tripod and a sirui va 5 head.

Yep! I take LDPs with it too. Remote switch if I’m solo.
