Another vote for Lums! I met me wife there! Lol.
The bbq was great. I ordered a piece of chocolate pie for us to split and we received a 1/4 piece of Pie! It was so big we couldn’t finish it.

Lum's is pretty hard to beat. The thing I like is the brisket is whole when you order, so you can get whatever cut you like, however much marbling, however much "bark". The ribs are excellant, as well, as is the jal/cheese sausage. The "cold" sides mentioned above, I'm not sure what was meant. I've gotten beans there and they were hot. Potato/pasta salad and cole slaw are indeed cold, but i kinda like em that way.
If you get turkey or pork loin, meh.

Beef ribs at Lum's used to be the ticket.

Yep. Love Paddler's Porch. Haven't been since the new owners bought it but a chill place for a beer and burger.

Coopers in Junction is owned by different folks. Not the same AT ALL.

It’s not the same Cooper’s that’s in Llano or New Braunfels and they practically jump down your throat if you ask.

If you enjoy being disappointed and leaving hungry, Cooper’s is the place.

Never been good the couple of times I've eaten there. Been hunting in Junction almost 10years. I guess compared to Coopers its good??

Very true, and the menudo is great as well.

Lum's is as good as it gets in that area

Lums is great 9 out of 10 times.

I always wanted to try the Milky Way, just cause it looks good. I got breakfast tacos there last month and was disappointed. Would try again for a burger because a place that looks like that has to have amazing burgers.

Where’s the best place for tacos?
    Cooper’s gets the I-10 traffic.
