bad luck

Bad luck seems to be running rampant. If anyone knows of positions for a mammographer/ xray tech please let me know!! I still have a job, but it's only by the grace of God that I am still there. I am double registered in radiography and mammography. I do CT and could be registery eligible in a short period of time. I have experience in purchasing, scheduling, all aspects of quality control including MQSA state regs. I have most recently been chairperson for my facilities Performance Improvement committee, which includes Risk Officer. I have been Administrative Director of Radiology for 4 years.
You KNOW it's not gonna be good, when you prove your administrators did a benchmark wrong (to THEIR advantage of course) and they tell you " it's in your best interest to drop it" instead of saying, well, let's take a second look at this. anger management classes would be of benefit to me at this time too.... I'm runnin out of duct tape for my mouth keep me in your prayers please and pardon the venting...

I'm sure you'll find something better. You're a smart woman who always took your job serious. Look for that other open door that's right next to the one that just closed. I'll have Brandy keep her eyes and ears open for ya. In the meantime, I have an extra roll of duct tape.

Thank you RH, I didn't wanna vent here, so I didn't say what all is going on, all I wanted was a little reassurance that it will be ok I guess....thank you and HM for acknowledging that, it's greatly appreciated.

Venting is much better than keeping it in! Something my mom always says. Anyway, vent away, I'm sure we will all lend an open ear to listen. I don't have any duct tape around the house, but I do have the military version called 100mph tape It really helps when your mouth thinks it wants to go 100mph too.

Isn't it illegal to fire a 'whistleblower'? I would consult an attorney to see what your protections are here.

Sunshine, I am in the same field as you and know of a CT/Xray position open although it is here in San Antonio. Hopefully you can find something closer to your home. Best of luck to you.
