I found this little spike like this while looking for the 8 point I shot and found.
It appears coyotes had a snack on his back end. I’m wondering if coyotes caught him and killed him or if maybe someone shot him and cut the hind quarter meat off and left the rest since I noticed the surgically nice cut down his side. Do coyotes or anything else cut clean lines like that? Just curious is all…



Sure miss those days of being able to hunt a lease for a nominal cost that didn’t create greed and a feeling of despair if you didn’t kill something!

Looks like yotes ate all the meat off the hind quarters.

I’ve seen where a sounder of pigs will eat the internals and some meat like that

No one removed any meat. All that was done by animals

No telling how he died, but definitely looks like yotes, buzzards, pigs, and/or coons got ahold of him.
