Saturday evening at around 5:15, the big axis came in at 15 yards. I drew back, just as I was getting dialed in on him he turned his *** to me. I held at full draw as long as I could, to the point my muscles were cramping. He never would turn broadside, and I had to let down, he spooked and left. He actually came within 60 yards of me right at dark. He was a no show Sunday morning, and hasn’t shown back up on camera since Saturday night. I’ll give it a try here in a few weeks.
