Cause it's a Simmons Custom...one of the nicest bay boats made. Have you priced a nice bay boat lately? They're not cheap.

Probably because it's built by the original builder Eric Simmons (ESC) Eric Simmons Custom Boats. He sold the Simmon's model years ago to Shallowsport and at that time the boats were selling for over 100K. He then started making ESC Boats. Fast, shallow and possible dry boats.

Because his dad sank his whole retirement in Eric's company, and all it did was lose money. Maybe things have changed now, but anyone who thinks his dad screwed him doesn't know the whole story.
