What to plant this time of year?

Worked on a food plot this weekend. What do ya'll perfer to plant this time of year? I need some suggestions.

Iron and clay cow peas

Cow peas, deer absolutly love them. Only problem is they may eat them down to the point where they won't come back. That is speaking from experience. Also soybeans are good too.

There are lots of products out there. The one I mentioned is by far the best when compaired to all others in MY area. You can spend more money on something with a deer head on the bag, but if ou are in a sandy loam, heavy loam, or clay soiled area that receives rain, you will not out produce iron and clay cow peas in tons per ac. and heartyness (once they enter the 3 leaf stage).

soybeans, blackeyed peas(cow peas is what I think everyone has referred to them), pinto beans, mix in some corn if you have the water for it and once the beans get eaten down the corn will come on up....
