    Yikes! Glad they got him that seesms along time hanging upside down.

    It seems that every single accident lately is related to no safety harness.

    I had a new bow hunter on our lease have his bottom part of the climber fall off. He panicked and tried to figure a way down with his harness on. His harness got hung a small knub branch and he just climbed out of harness and slid down the tree. When i got there his topstand was at about 20ft and the harness and jacket were around 15 ft. I used my climber and got everythuing down. Thank goodness he had his harness on.

      I tether my top and bottom of my climber together for that very reason. Glad he was ok!

        I started a thread on here years ago when I tried a climber for the first time. Dang bottom fell and I was stuck up a tree. Luckily I was at my in-laws place and father in law brought me an extension ladder
