    Moving memory foam mattress?

Anybody have experience moving a king size memory foam mattress? I have a Tempur-Pedic mattress I need to move to Houston. Has anybody successfully tried the vacuum sealable mattress bags?

Taco it in the tailgate of your truck, or roll down the road and find someone with a good trailer that would bend it the right way and offer them some money...or do a garage sale and offer $20 for a person to deliver the mattress to one of the customers at your garage sale.

I threw mine in the back of my truck and drove 3 miles to the new house.

Slid ours on edge out the house and hauled on my lowboy trailer. They are a beast to handle.

This is what we did with ours. Luckily we had some other furniture including the refrigerator so we were able to slide it on end between the furniture pieces.

Throw some ratchet straps around it so you have something to grab onto and carry

I put bath towels under it but same concept. Once you have something to hold on to much easier to move.
