Best lawnmower I ever owned was a John Deer 2 stroke walk behind. The thing screamed and probably put out triple the emissions of a modern 4 stroke unit. Well it worked perfectly for 10 years.
First they came for 2 strokes
Next they come for diesels
Then they come for me...

I just upgraded from $100 Murray that I got off CraigsList and used for 9 years. It was well used when I got it. Got a Honda and hope to have it last 15+ years at least. Who knows, by then it may be illegal to cut your lawn due to the feelings of the poor blades of grass.
