    Kayak lights question

Hey yall, i know i can trust answers here. I have a new kayak i am planning on registering and reading the regs on navigation lights is a little confusing.

Do i need to even if i dont plan on using it at night? Is it just the bright white light needed, or all the navigation lights?

A 360 white light is required between sunset and sunrise. No light required during daylight. Are you putting a motor on it?
If you're motorized it red and green are also required during the sunset to sunrise times. Not required during daylight but if you get caught out after dark for any reason, like dead battery (I know this by experience) you can get ticketed for no lights.

I don't think nav lights are required, I could be wrong. None of the Youtubers I know that have trolling motors have nav lights. I don't on mine. I believe it's just the 360 degree light. You might want to call TP&W and ask.
