Would like to hear from you guys that have killed nilgai with sabot slugs. Which is preferred, lead or solid copper? Is 2-3/4" sufficient or should I go with 3"? Ballistic tip or hollow point?

You will almost never get a clean broadside shot and you will general take shots at them on the run. Go with your biggest and flatest shooting rifle.

Fyi. Everyone hunting that weekend was using slug gun except 1 guy was using muzzleloader
