We seldom see them any more just south of Medina. In the past they were in huntable numbers.

We’ve seen it happen in Rocksprings as well. Used to see herds of 50-100 axis. Now 10 is a big group.

The 2021 freeze set them back , my dog was finding dead axis for weeks after the storm
They will bounce back
