    Finally built my AR

Picked up a couple of DPMS stripped lowers last year and then ordered a Stag 5.56 complete kit in Nov. 08.
Received the upper last Monday and got it put together tonight. I was a little hesitant as this is my first build. Piece of cake. Just followed the build instructions on AR15.com and it's ready to shoot!!

    Stripped DPMS Lower: $130
Stag upper w/BC, barrel, 6 position buttstock and lower parts kit: $598
Total = $728 (not counting all the mags and ammo I've bought)

Good start...now for the accesories -- I was the same way when I put my first one together...then realized it really is pretty easy once you do it. Getting my AR back next month (not sure why I ever sold it), can't wait to start building it up.

I'll shoot some first and then put on a free float tube for accessories, different pistol grip and a scope.
Kinda thinking about a 6.8 for the second build. And then drop several dimes for some real quality parts for a 3rd. Maybe a LaRue billet lower topped with a LaRue Tactical Stealth Sniper upper. That one will take a while as it ain't cheap...

Somebody is feeding you a line of BS.

Just bought some ammo at Military Gun Supply on Friday with my Bank of America debit card.

Sad parts was I bought 7.62 x 51 ammo cheaper than I could buy 5.56 and by the same manufacturer at that.
