I have a 4 gallon Bayouclassic cast iron Jambayla pot I`d consider selling if interested.

It's pretty obvious that those thinking that 15-30 gallons could be a mistake, or laughing about it, have never been to Bownanza where Team Bean cooks beans in a 55 gallon drum. Or Team Axis gusada cooks it's stew in a 55 gallon barrel.

      Just say-n.

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Just in case the OP meant quart and not gallon; I can recommend this pot. I bought it for my wife for when she does canning weekends with her girlfriends. They loved it. One of the ladies that does serious canning ordered one immediately. It is not cast iron but it can be picked up by one person.

I plan to break it in with venison chili soon.

Not sure where you are located or if you travel I-10 but check out Gary Matte Hardware in Rayne, La. They have just about any size pot/burner you would want.

Mine was more of a shocked LOL than anything. I keep visualizing 3 to 6- 5 gallon buckets full of chili.

            Bump for the OP.

I guess that's what I really meant. We've just always used them for stew and chili.

I definitely meant gallons. Obviously some of you folks commenting have never paid attention or never been around them so no need for your useless comments.

To those that actually added value to the thread, I appreciate you for your time.

Hey Ryan, Hootens in Emory has pots in every size. I have a 30 gallon and I have been looking for a 15 gallon. Just bought stuff for Saturday and I’m at $320 to cook a beef stew. That $5.99 a pound stew meat is stupid.

This is a 30 gallon pot. Made in holland around 1870. Heavy as an whores heart. 3 1st place and a 3rd place in last 3 years. Hoping to pick up another 1st Saturday.

Ok Richard Head. I don’t think anyone said anything derogatory toward your post and most were genuinely trying to help, but your comment sure was is base.
