So here’s a little history on the Commodores BL. Many years back Lionel Richey was being interviewed by Baba Waba if my memory serves me correctly. She asked him how they came by their name Commodores. He said that they struggled for quite some time and couldn’t agree on a name. So they all agreed that they would open the dictionary to a random page and without looking Richey would put his finger down without looking and what ever word was there they would make a name from it. And his finger landed on Commodore. He also added that they could have easily ended up being called the Commodes. LOL. Supposedly a true story.
