    Dead?

Buddy’s son came out and took a shot at my nuisance pig that eats all my corn every night. The gun is dead nut at 100, and this shot was taken at 95 yds or so. It made it off my property into the thick stuff, and very little blood, but sometimes you don’t get much at first because of their hair. Here’s a screenshot of the reticles at impact, and another of him buckled a split second later. Your thoughts? I’m not too worried about it, but he kinda is. I think at minimum he took out the back lung.

What caliber and shell was he shooting? Looks to be dead into the should, may not have made it beyond the bone.

Dead hog if that's where it was at trigger break. Now if he shooting a .223 or 22-250 it may have broke up on the bone. They don't bleed like a deer.

I’d say check your gun and make sure you’re still “dead nuts”. Because if that’s the reticle at impact, that hog should be dead 100%. Can’t get much better shot placement than that.

Looks a little far forward for a broadside shot, but it appears to be slightly quartering to. I think he's dead even with a .22lr.

It was on a few days ago and has sat in the closet in a hard case. But the pig only had to make it about 25 yds before we weren’t going to be able to track it

I think it's probably dead or at the very least going to die.

I hit one similar spot with my AR-10 one night & he went about 60-70 yards
I was surprised he went that far as that front impact leg was broke at shoulder hit
                    Pig was about 100-115 lbs
                    I used a 150 grain round
