Wow! I must of bought my Michelins right before the price started to skyrocket because I didn’t pay that much for them.

On the other hand two burgers and fries cost me 21 dollars at Wataburger last night.

They replaced my wife's tire for free once. That about paid for all future tire warranties. They also pulled out screws (and fixed) at least 4 different times for free.

Get a sidewall unrepairable tire even with 20% tread left and you get a new tire. Guess you guys never get flats?
Why? Because I don't buy tires from places that sell that crap. You can find places with better prices. The warranty usually cost at or around the price of an additional tire. So even if you get a "free" tire" you've already paid for it. Would they be selling that crap if they weren't coming out ahead on the deal? What happens if you blow a tire that is not near one of their locations? Do they pay for that replacement? It's been a long time since I've had a tire go bad. I'll take my chances.

Skip the big box stores and find a small shop and check with them. I’m about to have to put a new set on my truck. 33x12.5/20 Toyo AT3 or Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Discount Tire was $2200. Stopped in a small shop and $1680 out the door for either tire

I agree that giving out free money was horrible. But your boy Joe and his chronies forced a lot of that onto the conservatives. I don't think anyone should have gotten anything for free. Myself included.

So when do all of the poor decisions made by old Joe quit being Trump's fault?

It blows my mind how people will trash talk a man who loved America and wouldn't take a salary but ignore poor policy and flat criminal acts by the left.

We are in a recession, much of it caused by poor policy decisions. You are welcome to redefine it.

Really liked Trump and his polices, but the PPP loans were just a huge give away and for the most part not necessary to the level they gave. On here last year I believe was a site you could go to and see who received the PPP loans in your area. Yeah, a lot of those folks bought coast houses or new cars and boats and the employees of the most part stayed home and did not work. Not just a little money, one small construction company with like 15 employees received like $500K and many others much more. They threw the money right back in the market increasing demand and escalating prices being only one of the major contributors to our current state. That being said what really through us over board was the $1.9T Inflation reduction act. That finished us off.

The fact the you think Lets go brandon is my boy tells me you lack critical thinking skills. It is the prototypical response anytime someone criticizes anything messiah Trump did.

If Trump was still in office inflation would not be as bad simply because of his energy policies. Cheap energy drives the world economy but we would still be having inflation, its been coming for a long time. Interest rates were too low for too long propping up a false economy, billions of dollars printed to fund wars we shouldn't been in then they gave billions of dollars we didn't have to a lot of businesses that didn't need it. Covid brought the perfect storm to ramp it up. We're **** lucky there wasn't a hurricane in the gulf this year. So far anyway. Now they just keep printing money to fund a war between 2 corrupt countries who both hate us.

Couple of months ago I went to Discount and put a set of Michelin take-off on my F-150. thought I would pay it off in 6 months. Since then I have already sold that truck and now I am still paying for tires on a truck that I don't even have anymore !!

I’d say I’m a bit more qualified to speak on it than someone looking stuff up on the internet.

I really don’t understand people taking brand new stuff off brand new vehicles then spending thousands on new stuff. But I guess it makes for good deals for the rest of us

Yep. My last 2 sets have been used tires.

Do the math. You pay $30 (hypothetically) for the initial purchase of the warranty, then another $30 for the new tire warranty since they are tied to the “serial number” on each tire. By the time you add mount/balance/disposal fee and tax, it’s really not that great of a deal.

And a $30 certificate doesn’t cover that expensive a tire.

So let’s say you have 1 tire replaced under the certificate. You have paid out a total of at least $150 to replace one tire.

Won't be big and cool, but round and hold air just fine

Did you not see we are talking about $4-500 tires??

We get certs on everything and use the heck out of them! I bet we have had 2 dozen + tires replaced in the last 10 years… but we are a ranching/oilfield family and put 50-60,000 miles each on 5 trucks a year. So we aren’t the normal curb hopper. YMMV

Just put a set of the Recon Grapplers and got them from Discount. Asked if I could get a better deal and got the tires for $405 a piece down from $443. I also got the warranty because why the heck not?!? I put over 50k on my pickup a year and it’s come in handy when traveling all over. Especially in the areas I have to go to reach my customers.

Man I should probably just get a F-150 instead of two Vehicles but I put around 38k year on my F250 and my sales car. 26k on my sales car and 12k on my F-250.
