    USPS Sucks!!!!

    Ordered a clutch belt online for my mule that cost $138 with priority shipping that was shipped USPS.

    They lost my part and after talking to the post office and filing a claim on line I was told they will only pay me $100! Lost 2 weeks trying to find my part and then loosing an additional $38, I have had it with USPS.

    Will only pay to ship overnight or buy local from now on!!!

      the seller isnt making it right? Never understand the seller not covering the cost.

      If you pay with a credit card, file a claim with them. They normally have something in the terms to cover stuff like this.

        USPS has been sucking for about 40yrs. Check out “going postal” origination.
        If you used your card, they should make it good. I think they will file on your behalf and recover your funds.

          USPS has always been awesome for me. But packages do indeed only carry a certain amount of insurance unless more is added.

            This is why I shop on Amazon so much now. Hassle free customer service with replacing items and returning items.

              The seller is the shipper so they should absolutely be responsible for getting it to where it’s supposed to go and without damage.

                I've got an item floating out there in the USPS world since late 2019. Made it from Cali to Houston and fell in the void never to be seen again.

                  My last USPS package was scheduled here tomorrow. Arrived today without any issue. I have had way more issues with UPS and Fedx than I have USPS. Every one of them is going to have issues from time to time.

                        Seller is responsible for the difference, IMHO. They didn't buy the extra insurance to cover the full value. Depending on how/where you purchase, you can file a claim if they don't take responsibility. USPS fault for losing but seller fault for value you received.

                          I seem to have more issues with UPS than USPS. Fed Ex always seems to be more $

                            Same here but they have their quirks too, such as not reading delivery instructions for pkgs and trying to deliver stuff after obvious business hours/weekends.

                              Yep, I refuse to use the USPS anymore. They lost my last package even with a tracking number.
