Strange request but does anyone know a good place to buy a 5.7 Hemi engine? Used or rebuilt is okay as long as it’s in good condition.

I just bought a Jasper motor for my son’s truck. Little shy of $9,000 installed.

I could have saved a little by having the old motor rebuilt, but my machine shop was 2-3 months out.

Can I assume your lifters and cam are toast also?

Also, I would strongly recommend you stay away from a used motor, the few that are out there, are toast.

If the lifters/ cam are bad, all that metal is in the block.

Thats why we went with a remanufactured motor. 100,000 mile warranty included.
