Successful weekend

After my sons football game Saturday, I took him and 2 of his buddies from the team to the deer lease. Pretty entertaining to say the least. We shot a boar pretty much as soon as we arrived. We did some exploring. We had to get stocked up on some pecans so we could survive in case we ran out of food. Then we took a bath in a pond so we could smell like nature. Sunday evening 2 of us bow hunted in my bow stand while the other 2 sat in the box blind armed with binoculars, cell phones and 6 pounds of candy. They were going to make sure no bucks or hogs were going to sneak up from behind. We hung up a new flag and ate s’mores by the campfire. The s’mores were so good we ate them for breakfast too.
