        Mine are similar to CWKATTNER’s. I’ve had my male and a ewe for over 9 and 10 years with no issues with smell. If there is an issue with smell, that is a tanning issue.

              This Ibex stunk about as bad as a Billy goat could smell. But no issues after being mounted

              Very nice mounts fellas, all of them are very nice.

                  My aoudad should be completed any day now by Mike Palermo. This isn’t mine, but this is the mount I decided on. (Wall mount, not a pedestal mount)

                        Aoudad Mounts

                        No issues with smell from my aoudad, but I did mount a goat that had a bad smell for a long time after I got it back. It’s definitely a “goat” smell and not something wrong with the taxidermy. I have it pretty high in the wall now and no smell is detectable.

                                One thing some taxis do is spray wd 40 or a light oil on the horns to darken them. IMO it does not look natural. You might want to let your taxi know when dropping off how you like them.
