My best archery buck, Deadeye, by 4/8” is back from Safari Studios and I couldn’t love the job their artists did with him any more. I wanted to emphasize his bad eye as well as his antlers and after not being able to find a full sneak form we liked to fit , I decide to roll with a semi sneak. Glad I did because I forgot how distinct his double throat patch was with his cape in the freezer. His eye is a little lighter than actual but since he is higher up on the wall, the taxi and I agreed it would be better to have it a tad bit lighter so folks could notice it and ask for it. They knocked it out of the park . I also wanted to emphasize his brows that curled back but tried as we may, I just could find the right combo to emphasize it all. I have a feeling this will be converted to a pedestal mount eventually .
Here’s the story and video.
Pardon the stuff behind his horns as there is not a view from my fence where there is not an oak in the back ground or without shadows . I changed the position on the fence no less than 15 times and finally said screw it.

In my lease cabin after picking it up while we hunted. Hung it to keep it out of the way for the weekend .
