Anyone else use these cams and found a solar setup that works with them? I got a couple when they had a deal on them for $100 each. The only issue i have with them, is that they do not accept the covert solar and covert originally planned on a panel available in July, but today said it will be sometime next year. Running 12 rechargables, I get about a month of battery out of the camera which isnt bad, but id prefer a solar to place and leave alone.

We bought these for $59 on Amazon. They work with any 6v or 12v camera and come with multiple cords to fit whatever camera you have. (The WC30 is a 12V camera, it is covert's first they said)
This is an external battery pack with solar panel, it does not recharge the batteries in the camera BUT you can have the cheapest batteries in the camera, and they will only use them if this ever goes down for some reason. With the way the door is on the WC30, you have to have batteries in it to turn it on, shut door then plug this in. If it wasn't that way, you wouldnt even need batteries in the camera.

And you havent had any issues with it only being 1a? i think the covert panels are like 10a and in the past i tried using a 1a or similar on a covert black hawk and it couldnt keep the battery chargedComment
