It's the culture of Mexico that is the problem. We can't go impose our (American) will on them. They have to want freedom. And that desire for freedom just isn't there. They let the cartels run vast portions of their country. Their government won't fight back.

The problem is, we latch onto "this group or that group is bad", and we need to stop them, without thinking of any implications of our actions. Our hearts are in the right spot, but we have poor execution. Then we wander into all these countries, defeat the bad guy, appoint a new ruling class, who did zero work to create the "democracy", and expect it will all turn out well. The corruption does not go away, it simmers or shifts until we leave. It takes generations of occupation to change a mindset. And most Americans, outside of DC, NYC, and LA, do not want to be an empire. If there is a problem, we will help stop it. But we do not have the desire to be in a country forever to police them, especially after Afghanistan and Iraq (And a little further step back, Vietnam).

Keep in mind. Democrats support this nonsense. They support the rape of people coming here to make a better life for themselves. Just so they can have fruit (Or whatever crazy Nancy said).

America always wants to change or fix other countries. That Is not our job. For example your neighbor has weeds and dead patches all over his lawn. You don't weed, fertilize,, and water his yard. If you do. He will let it go back to what is comfortable for him.

I travel to Mexico by Vehicle often. The true Mexican culture are some of the most Family driven, down to earth great people. I've mentioned before, I plan to live part time to full time in Old Mexico. Mexico City is one of the most amazing places to visit. I'd say Mexico is not a 3rd world country at all. Matter of fact, it resembles the America most of you want back. Are there bad places there? Sure. Yes. Just like here. Ever heard of Houston?? Pretty much anything our government touches, with good intent. Goes bad. The folks crossing our border, a large number of them are not even from Mexico. They are from other countries further south, middle east, Asian.

There ain't no fixing Mexico. They're just as corrupt as we are.
You have absolutely no idea what your talking about. I have over 50 employees in Guadalajara and help a few migrate to the states over the years. It's not near as simple as there are legal ways to do it.

Talking about woman being rapped and your response is "you get what you get and don't throw a fit" you are a sad excuse for a person.

I don't think we deal with Mexico like we do Iraq or Afghanistan. We get involved there to keep the fight there not here. Mexico is our neighbor and will require an entirely different approach to change. In my opinion we have to invest there so that years from now they will be a better country with stronger security that helps strengthen our borders. Just don't think our current approach or even a wall is going to fix this.

No it's not simple. But it is possible and it's better than getting raped or murdered.

You can't trust criminals. If you do you better be ready for whatever comes your way.

most of these people aren't even mexicans, they are coming from farther south. the people in Mexico have to fix their own country. i guarantee if the US was to to publicly announce they were going to try and do anything in Mexico the same downtrodden mexicans being held back by their own corrupt government would immediately tell the gringos to go pound sand.

when mexico allows outsiders to own more than 49% of a business then you will see investment

Everyone's looking for a better life. There's a right and a wrong way to go about things. I could sell drugs and make a pretty good living in today's society. And I'd just be trying to improve my life. But if I got shot in the head and killed during a drug deal ain't none of you would shed a tear over it. So what's the difference? I do things the way you're supposed to and I don't get killed or raped or thrown in prison.

But just because it's a woman people feel bad about it. They knew the dangers of their travels before they got there. That's a choice they made instead of going through the legal process to be in America.

That's the problem in today's society. Nobody wants to take accountability for anything. If I'm running with a bunch of idiots that steal and sell drugs and end up going to prison who is to blame? Me....That's on me.

i hunt eagle pass also, one of our guys last year climbed into his blind and there were two pairs of womens underwear hanging in his blind. it has become so ridiculous down there. i dont even lock my blind any more because they will just tear it up trying to get in. had to put steel bars on my trailer windows. it used to be such a fun place to go hunt and relax...

The glutenous drug use that the US sustains has allowed these cartels to grow into massive powerful organizations. If they control higher level of the government, how can they not control the individuals that are involved with the legal immigration process? So the choices are: join the cartel, try to legally come knowing the cartel will get your name, or pay them to cross you. I feel the excessive drugs consumed within the US is a major contributor to the situation south of us. Our leaders say stop the flow of deadly fentanyl, not don't do drugs. Just my two cents

Russia and Mexico are not the same thing. Mexico does not have nukes. Mexico wasn't our enemy for 60 plus years. Russia has terrible food. Russia does not have a land border with the US.

The search feature is a great function. You can actually just find what has been put out there. Regardless, this thread is about Mexico and Rape Trees, not Russia.

Don't you think the more likely scenario is that women change their undergarments, dont have any way to wash the old ones that are rank nasty from walking through the brush in 100 degree heat and choose to leave them behind instead of put them in their backpack with their other still clean clothes?

I mean come on. "Rape Trees" everywhere? No doubt people are preyed upon, but monsters cant be that common that there are "rape trees" on every trail.

I found some panties in a tree along a trail the illegals had through LRGV NWR last year on a Nilgai hunt. Never heard of a rape tree so I just figured they were good luck. I did end up shooting a Nilgai nearby a couple of days later...
