I would have turned his camera off and waited for him to come fix it. Lots of leases have legitimate weekend hunters and illegitimate weekday hunters. Especially true in East texas when I use to show up during week.

Is it poaching if he did not kill a deer? It would then just be trespassing.

Either way, looks like 2 hunters agree on a setup.

For trespassing you usually have to give a warning before getting in any trouble.

I wish people like that could be tazed. Or at least tracked so next time they try poaching courts could put the hammer down hard.

So why is this stuff so prevalent in east Texas? Constantly hearing these stories but never asked. Is it the thick woods are easy to hide in? A high population of hunters? A culture of the population?
