    Need help w nock issue

I drew on a big hog this evening, the arrow wouldn't stay on the fall away rest. I tried 4-5 times, I could put pressure on my release to somewhat get it to stay down. The pigs finally left lol. Got home and tested with my practice arrows and figured out it's not the rest but the lighted nocks. They are new, thought they were like the old ones I have. I'm guessing it was pinching the string and not allowing some movement. Is there a remedy for this or do they belong in the trash? Thanks

Practice how you perform. Not sure what your issue was other than it sounds like you didn’t have great nock fit.

Practice how you perform. Add it to your life motto.

Nick is being pinched by the bottom knot of your loop causing arrow lift. Loosen bottom knot and spread loop slightly.

Look up nock sets. Your D-loopis too tight and pinching the nock, which causes lift.

This happened to a friend. Come to find out the broadhead was hitting the riser.

Most likely your d loop is pinching as others have said.

Thanks everyone. I felt like it was being pinched, wasn't sure on remedy. It doesn't look too tight between nocks but evidently it is. I'll play around with it and see.

                I tried some lighted nocks

Everything worked fine until I put a fixed blade head (tried several brands) on the arrow and then it would not hit the same spot.
Eventually figured out the throat of the lighted nocks were narrower.
Never did find a solution to consistently widen throat of lighted nock so just gave up and shoot standard nocks

The lighted nock is likely wider (up and down taller) than your practice nock. That's causing the pinch.
