I’m not hunting in Blanco County this weekend, but I’m going to piggy back off this thread and post updates here from Tres Hijas in Lavaca County.

I have a rare opportunity to hunt with Michaela this evening.



Mo and I are set up in a Krivoman overlooking a Woods-to-Water directional feeder from Foreverlast.

Taylor is in a Gametamer west of us on the high line right of way.

Gammy is at the house watching Abigail and Hudson. Courtney and Hannah are on their way from College Station for a fun family weekend! (Wes is fishing with his dad in POC.)

We border the river for a short distance on the south end of the ranch.

I am hunting off of Spring. Ranch road. Lots of animals and saw a stud of an axis for a brief minute moving through the brush. Just no axis does, which is what we are allowed to shoot today.
