Had to hang my mobile set up in a cedar at lunch. This spot normally needs an east or south. I’m about 60 yards south of our normal stand with the strong NW wind. There is a 4 yr old cull with a long horn type spike in here I really want to get but no telling what else shows. This is my favorite spot on the place to hunt.

My buddy is going to take my bow and hunt with it tonight. He is wanting to check out the single pin before he upgrades to a Phase 4 from his no cam. We shoot the same length so he has been practicing at the connex. I’m going to brush in a ground blind and take his crossbow. I’ll be in the corner of 300 acre wheat field with a bunch of plum thickets. We have a quad pod there on a quail feeder with corn too. Mature 8 in there, short tines. It’ll be my first Crossbow hunt ever and honestly I ain’t mad at sitting on the ground in this 47 mph crosswind [emoji1787]

It’s really a steady 25 with some 35 mph gusts. But it feels like a hurricane to me lol
