This just happened at my parents house. Out of nowhere, their flooring started to buckle. They went through all of the possibilities...foundation, water leak etc.

In the end, it turned out to be the P-trap on their air conditioner drain was stopped up, leaking down into the return air and under the flooring. It buckled the floor 12-13' away.

Since the flooring is up already go ahead and seal it with epoxy. I’m guessing the vapor barrier was damaged during the foundation repair.

Bet it doesn’t have polly in the slab.

Being in Pasadena I bet there is a vapor barrier. From all responses I bet there is a water line in the slab leak. I also bet it's not vinyl plank.

Duct tape a trash bag to the floor for a couple of days. Remove it and see if moisture is under it

^^^This is your first step. Cover about a 3'x3' area. Let it sit for 24 hrs. That's how we tested for hydrostatic pressure when I was installing.

Ya'll are terrible. Keep doing what whatever makes that person write you nice paychecks.
