Speaking as a financial advisor myself, I gotta disagree as well. While it may take lots of discipline, especially if you have to break bad habits. Lot's of people overspend by hundreds each month. That money invested could easily be millions long term. Now if your 55 and just now breaking your habits maybe it won't make you "rich" but still offers a modest reward if spent responsibly.
