So, the heavy Ultraview thumb release came in yesterday, and my son and I took turns using it and comparing it to the Ultraview Hinge 2 and the Stan Onnex thumb. I've been shooting the Onnex for a while now, and really like it. That said, the Ultraview was more accurate for me. The Ultraview thumb had a light, crisp release, and the peg/button is the best that I've ever felt. I think the accuracy advantage was just the lighter release setting, and I'm going to explore setting my Onnex a little lighter. All of the releases grouped more or less in the same place for both of us, so that's good if switching back and forth. While the Ultravew is dampened for noise, I noticed no difference in sound level between either thumb, but the Hinge 2 is definitely louder than both, though I doubt that an animal would hear it at 20 yards over the noise of the bow.
Positives: I like the wide grip, the button, and the overall quality of the Ultraview
Negatives: It's expensive for what you get, especially when you consider that different buttons, fourth finger extensions, and other accessories that come with the Onnex you have to buy from Ultraview. Also, the button position isn't as adjustable in the Ultraview as in the Onnex.
