    2022 Tundra

Anyone driving the new engine yet? My sons truck is gonna cost me 6k and it’s likely not worth that. I am leaning towards giving him mine and buying a new Tundra (all our company vehicles are Toyotas).

Also very irritating, while his truck was at the transmission shop some window lickers broke in and stole a the cat converters off all the vehicles.

Input on the new Tundra motor would be greatly appreciated.

I bought mine in March and have not looked back. Traded in my 2018 for a 2022 Limited 4x4. I have only pulled a bass boat with it, but man its so much faster and smoother its unreal.. My wife hardly ever rides up front, she sits in back with the little one and comments all the time how much smoother the ride is over the 2018 and I have 35" mud tires on it. Currently getting 16.5MPG but was around 18-19 with the factory tires running 70-75 MPH.

Looks great. Did you install a leveling kit to fit 35s? Are those factory wheels?

Anyone drive the hybrid tundra? I’m looking at a limited hybrid with the TRD package.

I ended up buying an SR5. I’d like to have fewer options on it (or spent a little less) but I didn’t want to wait on one. Rides great, plenty of power. Lots of plastic on it that I’m sure will end up cracked or left on the ground at the ranch soon enough.

I have a 22 limited hybrid. I wouldn't get the truck with a non hybrid engine. I like nearly everything about the truck. Ride is smooth, acceleration is great, interior is really nice.

Did you have to give over MSRP? I had a grapevine Toyota dealer add $19500 over on a TRD pro hybrid that was in transit….

Why? Just seems like something else that could go wrong.

There's a million things that could go wrong on the truck, whats one more. The pros outway any conceivable cons.

Unfortunately I did, it definitely wasn't 20k though. It was less than 5 but can't remember the exact amount.

All Pros are 15-20K over MSRP. I paid MSRP in March for my Limited and got more for my 2018 Tundra then I paid for it. That was my big factor for jumping on the truck so fast.

Toyota of Rockwall has had this used Pro on their lot for about a month now. Price was over 80k with markup. I think it looks sharp but not for that much. I’ll hang onto my 2020 as long as possible.
