    That doesn’t look like wood.

I bet it could burn some wood though.

I have a Four Dog stove. It is similar.

Yes, I have a cylinder wood stove similar to that I built.

It is currently stored. Give me about a month and I will have it cranked up for an elk hunt. The legs and stove pipe are stored inside.

                  Very nice (both examples )
Put off a good bit of heat I guess? I’m just thinking of getting one for the lease and to have if our electric prices go through the roof like in Europe. I have a lot of wood

I have one nearly identical to that. Mine came from Davis tent. Used it in my wall tent up in wyoming a few years ago. Blizzard blew in after setting up camp and dumped 18” of snow with -15° temperatures. It kept the tent so **** hot we had to unzip the flap to ventilate it a bit.

Friend of our made this one about 20 years ago. We use it every fall in the wall tent.
A water tank on the side would be nice.
It is heavy and we don't pack it in anywhere.

Mine can make you hunt an exit if you load it up. Only complaint I have is it seems to go thru wood fairly quickly. I have to get up at least once a night, if not twice, to make sure we do not wake up shivering.

I can tell you a chunk of lump coal about the size of a volleyball will make the first few inches of the vent pipe red

                              Ha! Couldnt tell you

The ranch owners son of the place we hunted in colorado worked at a coal mine. He would bring it home from work when we hunted.
