Do Aoudad pattern to a feeder or are they sporadic???

Have a free choice feeder on top of the mountain with a broadcast feeder nearby. Have a decent group of Aoudad that come to it but not regularly. When they do show, they stay for over an hour but may go days and sometimes even weeks between visits. Are they just nomadic and sporadic or will they eventually come more patterned. Just want to get a shot at a couple but as of right now they just come and go from time to time…

They will hang out near the feeders. It’s the kick off to the rut so if you see a mature ram show up, you have about a 24-hr window to knock him down before he heads off to find a ewe in heat.
Just busted my target ram at my place yesterday. He had been MIA for 10 days. Last time I had him on camera was 2 miles from where I shot him

I’m my experience they’re sporadic/nomadic. But they love protein. They seem to find a newly filled feeder quick and stay they’re eating until they get their fill.

They are a traveling, nomadic species. They also are corn bandits and opportunistic. So the answer is yes

They can be sporadic and unpredictable. They can also camp out at your feeder until it’s empty.

I had a group of them show up at my feeder last night. I’ve been on this lease 3 years and haven’t seen any. I hope they leave.

Most unpredictable animal I hunt. They never seem to do the same thing twice.

They'll lock in to a protein feeder. If they're in the area and you put some sweet feed and alfalfa out they'll show.

They will live at a protein feeder until it's empty.. Sleep in the feed pen in type of living..
They can be a HUGE PITA...
